Wander is an exploration tabletop role-playing game played alone using an oracle (a geometric shape) on which you roll the dice and interpret your future!

Once upon a time, your nomadic tribe was responsible for connecting the cities of peris (fairies), jinns (genies), and divs (giants). This was before humans arrived.

Now it is up to you to reactivate the ancient pacts, reestablish relations so that we can walk the same path again. To do this, you will have to travel the lands of the Cradle, born from the struggle between the burning desert and the devouring jungle, and gain the trust of its inhabitants, including its spirits.

May the Mycelium guide your steps!

  • Simple character creation using word templates and random tables, complemented by possibilities for narrative advancement throughout the game.
  • A unique hexcrawl with several random tables for events and encounters not focused on violence.
  •  An oracle inspired by geomancy which allows, with a single draw, to perceive what awaits your character in the next segment of the map.
  • A quick method to generate locations including hidden cities, natural sanctuaries inhabited by spirits, and ruined or restored cultural sites.
  • Lots of discoveries to be made, such as reconstructing local legends, unearthing artifacts from the ancient world and even being temporarily bestowed with mystical gifts by spirits.
  • Evocative B&W drawings by Evlyn Moreau, Luciella Scarlett and Felipe da Silva Faria (used with permission).

Hey! Just letting you know Wander is included in the June 16 issue of The Soloist substack. I'm a sucker for exploration games like this.

That's so nice to read, thank you!
